Where are the buyers coming from; ? When the property market is in a slump and there are vendors needing for various reasons, the worst of which being an adverse financial situation resulting in them offloading a property, it is then best for them to sell soon.
The market continues to ‘drop’. Where are your buyers coming from ?; they are not always necessarily in New Zealand. Singapore and Australia have buyers who could easily buy in New Zealand. There will soon be an influx of expats who would buy property upon their return. With interest rates higher in recent times and possibly creeping up a tad further, before there is a correction/reduction, we are still headed for the final showdown. However the time for foreigners to get another ‘bite’ at the proverbial property cake is ‘waiting in the wings’. There is a present window of opportunity for smart buyers to get in, ahead of all that which will eventuate. Be strategic when you pplan your property requirements or needs.
